This B&B was in a great location. We were able to do laundry about a mile and a half from here. We sat across the street at a pub and had lunch while we waited on our clothes. The entrance to the Blarney Castle was about a block away as well as the Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping. You could see the B&B from the entrance of each site. The owner let us park our car here while we visited the Blarney Castle. We had dinner in the bier garden and breakfast in the main restaurant. Breakfast was really good. We ordered off the main menu and ate with some locals.

Great location for exploring the area
Good breakfast (especially as the host states breakfast not provided - don't do yourself down Vicky, it isn't always about a cooked/fry up breakfast) we loved the choice and plenty of it!
The decor, surroundings, car park and just ambience was fabulous .... felt completely chilled out
Great eateries in walking distance of the accommodation
Vicki the owner is so lovely - personable and professional .... made it feel like 'home from home'
Facing Cork City Hall, the Clayton Hotel Cork overlooks the River Lee. It offers beautifully designed air-conditioned rooms, a health and spa centre with pool, and a fine restaurant.

The room was clean and comfortable, we requested a ground floor and were given a first floor room which was quite acceptable for us as we had our two grand daughters with us. The foyer is very bright and spacious with plenty of seating.
The boutique Hotel Isaacs Cork City is just a 5-minute walk from the city centre, including the English Market and Shandon Steeple.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
These accommodations were within walking distance to the Blarney Castle which was a huge plus. They have their own parking, although we chose to just to park in front of the hotel/restaurant. Everyone was very accommodating and the food in the restaurant was good! A huge shout out goes to the staff who mailed my necklace to me in the US that I had left in the room. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
All staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Central location in Blarney, short drive from Cork city centre. Clean spacious modern rooms, comfortable beds. Decent size TV. Good facilities. Excellent cooked breakfast (with perfect poached eggs) Lively bar with live music and good range of beers. We had a great night and will definitely book again next spring.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
loved the location in beautiful Blarney. Superb reception area and fantastic staff. The breakfast was amazing too. Loved the retention of the old features and character combined with the elegance of the boutique hotel. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
The hotel is fantastic! very stylish, comfortable, the BEST location, and the friendliest people!! The things I look for in reviews are: comfortable bed, great location, family friendly, good food, and friendly and helpful staff. The Blarney Castle Hotel met all those!
The hotel was in all elements professional except in one area.
The room was large and spotless
It had a large flatscreen tv.
The bathroom was pristeen with a choice of shower heads.
The breakfast had a well presented menu and the food was excellent
Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.
Gary gave us a wonderful warm welcome. Dinner was excellent, fresh and hot. The shower was strong. Breakfast was delicious! Plus it’s literally across the street from Blarney Castle!!
Everything. The room, breakfast and hosts were exceptional. The location was great or those who want to visit Blarney Castle, Cork, Kinsale and Cobh. Just love it, don't miss it.
Lovely hotel right across from Blarney Castle entrance - wonderful breakfast - nice pub for diner and great fish and chips! would stay there again if we have the opportunity!
